Yeah, I'm not going to do my submission.
Doing stuff at the last minute + getting sick is not a good combo.

RPG Intros
If your gameplay isn't that strong, you might as well make a longer intro - having people hooked into the story is going to be what makes them keep on going, and you're going to lose the gameplay-focused people anyway.
On the other hand, if you have strong gameplay, you should hit people in the face with this fact as soon as possible, possibly even before your intro.
So, I'd argue you should arrange your game to play to it's strengths.

I didn't know it existed, but am now reading it thanks to it being randomly bumped.

1. Meet another kind of geek whom you overlap geekdom with, or talk to your current geek friends until you have acquired sufficient trust level.
2. Talk about game design stuff every now and then.
3. Ask friends if they are interested in game design. Even if they aren't, they may know people through the geek social network, such as it is.
4. ? ? ? ? ?
5. Profit.

RPGmaker VX - Quicktime Events in Battle Script?
I was wondering if there were any 'press X when attacked to defend' or 'press X when attacking at right time to make a second attack' type scripts for VX out there.
Ideally for the tankentai/sideview battler, since otherwise it would be rather confusing, but I imagine I could hack it in there if I had a basic system of some kind.
